A downloadable game

This game was developed by a team of three as part of our first VR project for a university assignment. The goal was to create an immersive VR experience in 4 weeks that showcases the technical and creative challenges of virtual reality game development. While still in development, VR Forge provides a unique glimpse into the world of blacksmithing within a VR sandbox environment.


VR Forge is a casual virtual reality game where players can experience the art of blacksmithing firsthand. Immerse yourself in a fully interactive environment as you forge and customize weapons of your own design. Whether you're shaping a blade or adding intricate details to a shield, VR Forge lets you explore the craftsmanship of a blacksmith in a relaxing yet creative setting.

Install instructions

Important: VR Kit Required

To play VR Forge, you must have a VR kit. The game is designed exclusively for virtual reality and cannot be played on a standard PC without VR equipment.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Download the game files provided.
  2. Ensure your VR kit (e.g., Oculus Rift, HTC Vive) is properly set up and connected to your PC.
  3. Extract the downloaded files into a folder on your PC.
  4. Launch the game through your VR setup’s interface
